Friday, October 25, 2013. We finally did it! We took the dogs to the vet to get their teeth cleaned. We try to keep up with brushing their teeth but because we adopted Manny so old and his teeth are so little, he ended up with a lot of plaque build up and we were sure some of his poor teeth were starting to rot (at least that's what it smelled like). She's not as bad because we adopted her when she was an older puppy. And Manny's after pictures. Poor boy had to get 3 teeth removed. His missing teeth :(.

Saturday, May 31, 2014. I am so thankful for Memorial Day! It's a day that we can take a remember those who gave everything for the freedoms that we enjoy in the country we live in! Because it was Memorial Day though, I got a day off from work (Thank goodness), but Justin needed to work at the hospital. I slept in and met up with Justin for lunch during his break. Buffy decided that she needed to sit right in the middle of my legs as I blow dried her. Thanks Buff! I love Buffy's sun bathing position.

Saturday, October 18, 2014. Last weekend Curtis and I took a train ride through the Royal Gorge Canyon. We had so much fun. It was gorgeous scenery and the weather was beautiful. We ate breakfast in the dining car and then we went and stood outside on the open train. The picture on the right is the Royal Gorge Bridge. After the train ride we hit up a pumpkin patch that is famous in Canon City. The corn maze is a different game every year. It was SUPER muddy but so awesome! We had a blast. It has flown by.

Tuesday, April 2, 2013. I love the hope of new beginnings and spring all about the same time. And I love the reminder of the sacrifice the Savior gave for us,. So that we too can be resurrected. Friday was my first day of SPRING BREAK! I needed this break more than Christmas break. So Friday I was finally able to pull out Easter Eggs and decorate a tiny bit. I got the grass can at a Relief Society Activity a few weeks ago. And I put my eggs in a basket. Saturday night Curtis and I decorated Easter Eggs!

Since we're big BYU fans and we don't have cable, we were really excited when we got invited over to a friend's place to watch the BYU vs. Utah football game. It didn't start until 10pm out here in the east, so it was a super late night, but we had a lot of fun cheering on our team even though they lost. Saturday, January 25, 2014. Curtis and I spent most of Christmas break with my family in Idaho. We ended up at Walmart at some point and this is what the munchkins found. :). Friday, June 6, 2014. Now that school is out for the summer I finally have some time to catch up on things I don't make time to do otherwise. I headed to Utah for about 6 days over my spring break to see my siblings, nieces and nephews. I just love hanging with all of them. Ashley and Gabby both had birthdays while I was there. I didn't get a picture of Gabby but this is Ashley the morning of her birthday after she opened some of her things. Here she is again using her new scooter. This is the River Walk.
