Well i got a moment to take a small escape from my home this week. It was only two days and two nights, but i really worked to enjoy every moment. Osaka: More than a Shadow of Nearby Tokyo. I hope everyone is having a great summer back home in the states. Matthew-san and I celebrated the Fourth of July up north in Osaka! It was a nonstop fun trip and I have a lot to share about our adventures there! Clockwise from upper left: original, salt and plum takoyaki, so good, so good. Saturday, February 23, 2008. I have left this blog a long while and have been told that it is in need of an update. Well I've been out of Kenya for over 2 months and it has been strange. I miss my life there and the learning that took place. I still grapple. It's been frustrating to read the BBC news and see what has become of Kisumu, the streets I used to walk.
