Madagascar is like no where i have ever been before, its very very poor, the people are generally nice, though very interested that we are white and foreign, as you can imagine, apart from the volunteers at akany avoko seeing a white person is rare! Its not too hot, though when the sun is out in the afternoons, it is very strong! They will be there until june, so they were only around for the first few days we were there! We have been to magnetic island now, which though i am sure is very beautiful in the sun was a little less so in wet humid weather, though we met some interesting people, who we got into some very interesting conversations with, unfortunately it wasn't quite enough to persaude us that it was infact worth staying for longer on the island! Though i would recommend it in the sun beacuse i'm sure its amazing, and to stay in a better hostel! I am now back f.
