Wednesday, November 28, 2012. It is hard to believe another Thanksgiving/ Gingerbread house building party has come and gone. We had a great Thanksgiving this year with 26 people. It is always good to get together with the family. We hae a tradition of doing gingerbread houses the friday and saturday after Thanksgiving and everyone comes over. Dana usually takes off the week and helps my mother make the houses which consisted of 30 houses this year. A lot of work but so fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, July 20, 2015. I think it is finally time i come clean with something i have been dealing with for several years now. No, it isnt an addiction or anything like that. Its a little thing called a chemical imbalance;aka Depression. I promise it isnt contagious so there is no need to run and hide; Although genetically I really wish I could have been able to, Thanks but no thanks Grandma Burnett! It is times like this when Satan starts telling me that because I am 47, single, no children, I am NOTHING!

Friday, June 14, 2013. According to Rachel this was THE BEST DAY EVER! I don't think I would go that far.but it was pretty fun! After we suffered through the FOREVER LONG preshow - it was a blast! Poor emily wanted to stay awake so badly, but she dosed off here and there! The lady in front of us couldn't believe anyone could sleep through the noise! Saturday, April 27, 2013. TREAT SALE FOR MARSHALL! The weather was FINALLY beautiful and perfect for a treat sale! Sorry the pictures are terrible.full sun.YIKES! A few weeks ago for family night we decided to try and help raise a few bucks for our friend Marshall who is fighting cancer for the 2nd time this year! He is a young daddy who MUST survive this! He is super positive and will inspire anyone he who crosses his path! At 10:30 this morning we had people lining up before I was even ready!

La Casa De Herrera. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Here in the Herrera household we are loving summer! Time at Daddy's baseball games, going to the zoo and the aquarium, Wheeler Farm, Dino Park and lots of outside time. I have had to go to a couple classes for school this summer and one of them was woodshop. It was awesome! With no school I am trying to keep up on housework and get some overdue projects done (organizing stuff and a bunch of sewing and quilting projects). The boys get along so great!

La Casa De Herrera. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Looking at the waterfall at Mulligans. Yes I let him throw rocks in the water. We took Max mini golfing this summer and he really liked it.for about 2 holes. Then he got board but he entertained himself by throwing rocks into the ponds and climbing the large rocks that separated the different levels of the course. He totally loved it and keeps asking when we are going to go again. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Max and Taryn mini-golfing. Or so she says.
