Today at 10pm, as Ritesh went to put Adu to sleep, I got some winding down time for myself. As I'm reflecting on the day, I can't help smile. Today, after finishing my work from home, I went to pick up Adu from her child-care. (Today was her first nappy-free day in the child care which added to my anxiety- oh, the joys of parenthood! Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Well, I am officially an Australian now. I took the following pledge on 25th January at the Citizenship Ceremony. About four years back, I was hoping that by the time I become eligible for the Australian Citizenship, Indian Government start dual citizenship. So that I need not relinquish one to get the other. Tuesday, October 16, 2012. 4 years since I lost Baba. When I became pregnant, the first thought that crossed my mind was how would my baby know him. And I cried a lot. Adu has started saying 'papa' now. And I showed her baba's photo and said, "That's my papa, that's mumma's papa, Adu", and then held her tight and cried. She misses Baba every single day, but refrains from mentioning it, even tries to appear cheerful so that we don't constantly worry about her. I want her to be happy. Keep in touch.com.
