The Woman at the Well: Corn Salsa
http://womanatthewell-kerry.blogspot.com/2014/09/corn-salsa.html
The Woman at the Well. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, we've been on a make-it-ourselves Chipotle kick. My daughter loves the burrito bowls and we were curious about the barbacoa pork and beef, but have not ordered it. So along that vein, I chose Corn Salsa for the Sweet As Pie Cooking club. Because corn was in season and I just knew I would use fresh corn from my father's garden. Well, the corn didn't do well this year so I used canned. I made Barbacoa Beef. Linky at the Well.

The Woman at the Well: Chicken Cacciatore
http://womanatthewell-kerry.blogspot.com/2014/07/chicken-cacciatore.html
The Woman at the Well. Monday, July 14, 2014. A friend of mine has a Pampered Chef party every year. I look forward to going, even though I never win the door prize! Sometimes I can't make up my mind what to get, but this time I splurged on the deep covered baker. This was quite an investment in a container so I need to use it often! The party lady demonstrated how to use it to make chicken fajita filling (minus browning) in the microwave. Chicken in the microwave? My Collection Sweet As Pie Cooking Club.

The Woman at the Well. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. That's what this Trisha Yearwood Chicken Pie. Is And it taste good, so I'm told. I didn't try it, I gave it away. The recipe would make a good dish for family reunions, potlucks, or when kids turn up their noses if they see veges in the pot pie! Speaking of veges, I plan to make this again and have all these yummy garden veges that are coming in for sides. Like fried okra, purple hull peas, green beans, tomatoes, vidalia onions. The Woman at the Well: Spicy Dr Pepper Pork Crockpot Style

The Woman at the Well. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Spicy Dr Pepper Pork Crockpot Style. Pork roast is one of our family favorites and I was excited to try a different version like the Pioneer Woman Spicy Dr Pepper Pulled Pork. Can we add more words to that name? Hoping to find a 5 lb roast, I came home with the smallest one I could find, 7lbs. Hope the leftovers are good 'cause that's a lot of meat! Roast isn't complete without onions. I always add more onions. After about 6 hours on High, it's falling apa...

The Woman at the Well: October 2013
http://womanatthewell-kerry.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The Woman at the Well. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Showed up on the September Sweet As Pie Cooking Club. Menu Being in a mood for fall food, they didn't catch my attention until I realized I had local strawberries in the freezer. And I had been saving them for some reason.not sure what.maybe just the right recipe to come along. Oh, just me? If the strawberries don't have syrup, just add a sprinkling of sugar and let them sit in the bowl for a few minutes while they make their own syrup. They are VERY good!

The Woman at the Well. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup. Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup. A Sweet As Pie Cooking Club. Selection, has so many things I love.tomatoes, basil, cheese and pasta! Last year, during tomato overload at my house, somewhere between the marinara. And the tomato jam. I made my own "sundried" oven roasted/dried tomatoes. If I make it again, I'll try substituting one can of the tomato soup with tomato sauce so it's more tomato-ie and not so creamy. The Woman at the Well: He loves me anyway
http://womanatthewell-kerry.blogspot.com/2012/02/he-loves-me-anyway.html
The Woman at the Well. Monday, February 27, 2012. He loves me anyway. Letter art was one of the first blog-inspired projects that I made. I don't consider myself creative enough to come up with my own unique ideas, especially with all the great inspiration on the web. It's overwhelming! But usually when someone handcrafts something, it carries a story with it which is unique. This NOEL art from Pottery Barn is nice, but who wants NOEL on their mantel 24 x 7 x 365? He loves me anyway. I'm linking up with.
