Sunday, February 6, 2011. Just Plain Sweet Pantry Clean Out Day from the kitchen of Stacey Beth. Let it ice, let it freeze and then let it snow! A project that I decided to take on was to clean out our pantry, refrigerator and freezer. Here in North Texas, 1 in 3 children do not have enough to eat on a daily basis. It is very humbling to me. I am not an expert in couponing, but I do try when I find the products that we use. I love when a stumbled across a good deal when I am not looking and I thought that I would share it with you. Friday, September 7, 2012. Beet and Bean Burgers. just plain sweet! Beet and Bean Burgers. Well, we tried something new. This is a mixture of three beets, onion. chopped small and sautéed tender and caramelized. Then you mash up a drained rinsed can of black beans, add a half cup of cooked brown rice, pinch of salt, pepper, coriander, and parsley.and maybe about 2 Tablespoons of flour and the juice of one lemon. Pat it together and on a hot skillet cook two minutes on each side. Laurie and Stacey Beth.
