Tiramisu, which comes from an Italian word which means "pick me up", is an irresistible dessert which is made by soaking ladyfingers cookies into espresso and coffee liquor layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone cheese; and finally dusted with cocoa powder when served.
