It's academic job season, and as a last year PhD student, most of my writing time has gone to professional materials and dissertation work. Hopefully, once the applications start rolling out in early November, I'll get some spare time to do some more leisurely cultural analysis. Monday, November 17, 2008. Assignment 4: Poster (Final Design). After thinking about my poster more, I came up with this design:. The reason why I made the foreign worker stand out is because I feel this depicts the situation. They are discriminated in every situation even when they engage in normal activities like playing basketball (as shown in the poster).
