The Miller Family: December 2009
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. We made gingerbread houses with the girls one night for Family Home Evening. I have no idea what possessed me to tell them it would be fun to add coconut for snow. We were cleaning up coconut for days. We had our traditional Christmas Eve of jammies and pizza but we were sorely missing my parents! Here are the cookies and milk the girls left for Santa. Notice the paper plate asking for his signature. Apparently they were hoping this would verify his existence. Grace's ELP tea...

The Miller Family: I'm back
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2012/08/i-back.html
Sunday, August 5, 2012. Forgotten how cranky she was at first. She's now 15 months and so dang cute. She will be our last so I'm trying to soak up all the baby-ness she has to offer. I'm sure she's sick of me squeezing and kissing her. Claire is now three and just about the funniest thing I've ever known. She has the most entertaining inflection to her voice and quite the lisp. She is completely infatuated with her big sisters and will miss them terribly when they head to school in two days.

The Miller Family: June 2010
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 14, 2010. Yesterday Devon asked the girls to rinse off their breakfast dishes. Neither of them wanted to do it so some whining and complaining ensued. Here's the conversation between Jenna and Devon. Jenna: But why do we have to do it, Dad? Devon: Because I asked you to. Jenna: But can't you do it for us? Devon: If every time you didn't want to do what I asked then I did it for you, what kind of message would that send? We had a good belly laugh but, alas, Jenna still had to clean her plate!

The Miller Family: April 2010
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 15, 2010. The Many Faces of Claire. Man, we love this girl. She is such a joy. Giving Mom's leg a snuggle. Showing off her two new teeth. Trying desperately to eat this piece of paper and not having much success since I'm holding the other end. Crying on the other side of the door after her sisters ditched her. She will follow them anywhere. The one drawback to high ceilings and doors? The Tupperware drawer: every baby's favorite place to play! Friday, April 9, 2010. We enjoyed the day of...

The Miller Family: February 2010
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. We are sure enjoying the bounty of my dad's backyard! We were juicing some citrus yesterday and when I saw the innards of this orange I just had to take a picture. It was so perfect it looked magazine-worthy to me. Grace had the honor of eating it and she tells me it tasted as good as it looked. I asked the girls if they wanted to eat their carrots with the tops on like Bugs Bunny and Jenna said, "Who's Bugs Bunny? Am I really that old? On January...

The Miller Family: January 2010
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 22, 2010. Could She Be Any Cuter? Thursday, January 21, 2010. I had no idea how rewarding it would be to have a garden. I love walking to the backyard to choose vegetables for dinner. My favorite thing has been the fresh cilantro but the girls thought these twisted carrots were pretty entertaining. Thanks Dad! I think I've found a new hobby. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Claire sure loves her sisters and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual! Tuesday, January 19, 2010. The Church of Jesus ...

The Miller Family: October 2009
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Big sisters are the best! This afternoon Claire was in her bed trying to settle herself down for a nap. She has been really good at going to sleep on her own until this week so it's been a bit of a struggle. I suddenly realized that she was no longer fussing so I went in to check on her, assuming she had fallen asleep. Instead, I found this:. Am I lucky or what? Monday, October 5, 2009. This is my cute niece, Lily, holding Claire. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Your Not Going to Believe This. So I really do know the proper uses of your and you're but I couldn't resist. I'm sure you were all trying to figure out if there was a polite way to tell me I had totally embarrassed myself. On that note, check out the paper that we received from Jenna's reading teacher. Pay particular attention to Thursday's instructions and the first sentence of Friday. This person is teaching my child to read? Friday, September 18, 2009. Fun in the Sun.

The Miller Family: You Don't Want To Miss This!
http://djmillerfamily.blogspot.com/2010/08/you-dont-want-to-miss-this.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. You Don't Want To Miss This! My friend and local composer, Rob Gardner. Is premiering his latest work, Lamb of God. Next month and you really have to come. It is a glorious combination of music (soloists, 200-voice choir, full orchestra) and scriptural text about the Savior's atonement and resurrection. Great for people of all faiths. Ps Click on the picture to visit the website where you can hear clips of the music. September 1, 2010 at 8:43 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
