One day we went to Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga (where my sister got married) to walk around the gardens and feed the fish. Then we went out for Mexican food in Los Altos. Just traveling through…. The last few days in California. The last two weeks. →. July 4, 2012. Lila, this was such a big month for you! You took your first plane flight to California (which is why this photo is not in your usual chair). You did OKAY on the plane. After fussing for two hours, you did finally fall asleep for four hours, which gave mama and daddy a nice break! You are sitting unaided now, and want to crawl so badly! You also got your first two teeth this month! Happy 7 months baby girl!

Just traveling through…. First 4th of July! July 11, 2012. We’ve started exploring finger foods. This was Lila’s first experience with “butties” (bread and butter). Lila got a new music table! She’s still a bit puzzled by it. Lila and Tallulah have been enjoying a little “Yo Gabba Gabba” in the mornings. Avocado, which Lila used to be unsure about, is now a win! At my last nephrologist appointment, the doctor doubled my dose of blood pressure medication. I knew that was going to happen. I can always tell when its running high by the little headache behind my eyebrow. What surprised me a little was that it wasnt really related to my kidney function, which was perfect. (Woo hoo! And I can do it. I AM doing it. We shall be fit and gorgeous.
