Thank goodness for friends and family to keep me entertained. Turning 30 while being jobless, single and living in a student housing building isn't really something to be proud of I have to say. We went to the Mangorei Road entry and headed up for a 2,5 hour walk along the Pouakai Circuit (a 3 day walk, we did a 5 hour tramp). Stunning views, good excercise and lovely company.
