In those days we had a dial-up Internet connection and had to share the telephone line with others at the school. In April 2001, computer use surged after seventy computers donated by Fabkom, Inc. arrived. Has helped arrange for the donations to be collected and transported to our school.

Ein Jahr in Ghana. Freitag, 29. April 2011. Eine Nacht im Dschungel. Wir mieteten uns schließlich ein ganzes Trotro, welches uns bequem von der Green Turtle Lodge vor die Tore des Kakum National Parks brachte. Der Kakum Park zählt zu einem der größten Regenwaldgebiete in Ghana, mit einer Fläche von 607 Quadratkilometern. Typische Dschungelbewaldung und eine Luftfeuchtigkeit von 90%, sowie Baumkronen von bis zu 70 Metern lassen einen staunen. Donnerstag, 28. April 2011. Freiheit in den Bergen von Begoro.

Mir geht es darüber hinaus weiterhin sehr gut hier, wir haben zur Zeit eine Woche Mid-Term Ferien, daher ist nicht viel Außergewöhnliches zu Berichten zur Zeit. Man lebt sich halt auch in Ghana irgendwann ein und findet so etwas wie seinen Alltag. Ein Jahr in Ghana. Samstag, 18. Dezember 2010. Ab geht's in die Ferien. Jetzt wird sich erst mal bis zum 15. Januar entspannt. Bald geht es in die Green Turtle Lodge und dort werde ich dann viele Tage und Abende mit Cocktails, Rotwein und Büchern am Strand liegen und einfach mal den "Stress" der letzten Wochen vergessen. So, ich gehe mal davon aus, dass ich am Strand keine Möglichkeit haben werde mich zu melden oder Bilder online zu stellen. Daher werde ich dies dann nach meiner Rückkehr nachholen...
