Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Odysseus finally gets home to Ithaca! Odysseus falls asleep on the journey home so the people on the ship carry him and his stuff onto Ithaca. Most people wouldn't do that and take advantage of the situation. Take a little money here. Take some gold over there. He actually curses the people who literally carry him onto the island. Well he got what he wanted, their ship sank from the wrath of Poseidon. The Phaeacians were just being good people and bringing him back to Ithaca.

Sunday, February 17, 2008. The book I'm reading is Peril at End House. Poirot also uses a bunch of French expressions within the novel. I would be completely lost if I didn't take French. It seems like the class actually pays off. =D. Events happen decently fast in the novel also. In the eighth chapter, the murder of Maggie Buckley takes place. But thanks to Mr Whiting, I overcame some of my weakness and fears and have improved in climbing. In this unit, we learned how to climb and how to belay and each of them are important to know. Of the school badge and we had to draw it on the paper step by step. It was quite fun. My friend , Lynsie-. Took turns to draw but my other friends did not want to help.
