Thursday, February 26, 2009. As a single parent I need to keep things as simple as possible. So every once in a while I will de clutter my surroundings. After I am all done it feels like a huge weight has been lifted, and the air is less stuffy. Maybe it’s a mind thing, but I love the feeling of getting rid of stuff. Friday, February 20, 2009. Friday, May 15, 2009. I work in the tourism industry for my city, so we always get inside info from different attractions. One of our local attractions mentioned sending in photos of our trip, and if they liked them they would use them on their website or in the ads for whatever reason. This picture made the cut! Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Therapy Tuesday: Trick or Treat. She got the chance to do some early trick or treating. All of the therapists that were in the office had pumpkins up to show the kids that they had candy. So we stopped at the pumpkins and she would say want candy, and thank you and bye bye. Monday, June 29, 2009. Yeah, like we have been on vacation for this whole month, don't I wish. The weekend after Father's Day I planned Laila's b-day whose actual birthday isn't until July, but it's too close to Independence Day. So I have seriously been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Ohhh you know I love beach pictures girl! Glad your having fun in the sun in summer! June 29, 2009 at 7:40 PM. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Therapy Tuesday: Gobble, Gobble, Gobble. During this session Laila made a Turkey. She also learned the sound a turkey makes(hence the title). While she picked out the feathers she learned her colors, and numbers (again), and her eyes, and ears. She did really well with her spontaneous language(speaking without prompt). At home she has become a real Chatty Kathy. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Therapy Tuesday: Red Apple, Green Apple. Same object different color, that's our homework.
