Have Needle . Will Travel. January 17, 2010. 0160; What a beautiful little shawl pattern. This is Haruni by Emily Ross. 0160; So much fun to knit and it only took two days! 0160; I used Ella Rae Lace Merino. The yarn tag says 100g/ 460 yds. Ravelry lists the yardage as 412. Dont know which is more accurate, I didnt measure the yards. I knitted only 10 stems instead of the 12 suggested in the pattern. . I love this shawl so much, Ive started a second. Post and pictures soon. Jan 17, 2010 2:44:24 PM.

Have Needle . Will Travel. June 11, 2010. Not So Close This Time. I didnt run short or close to short on yarn this time. I knit a new shawl for a friend from her yarn. The pattern is Traveling Woman. By Liz Abinante using Kicking It Colors Fingering Weight Sock Yarn. The colors are a nice soft olive green to natural bone. I was not sure how the yarn would knit up, Im pleased with this shawl. It was fun and took very little knitting time. Still knitting lace. . Jun 11, 2010 3:58:53 PM. April 30, 2010.

JWRAYCO: April 2009
http://jwrayandco.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. We have returned from the Greencastle Fiber Event. It was a cold and blustery weekend! We had a great time; sold lots of yarn, patterns, knitting needles and stuff. Here you can see one of my students work from the rigid heddle class. She chose rayon ribbon, blue singles and a cotton rickrack yarn to create her scarf. Janet and I are back in the studio dying yarn. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Visit Our Favorite Websites. International Year of Natural Fibres.

JWRAYCO: midwest weavers conference
http://jwrayandco.blogspot.com/2009/07/midwest-weavers-conference.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2009. What a time at the midwest weavers conference in Grinnell Iowa. It was hot and humid and unfortunately the gym was not airconditioned. All the vendors were in the gym. But we met lots of great folks, the classes were great and there were some beautiful yarns and fibers (of course, ours the best), and lots of books and weaving stuff. Keep cool, Janet.
