January 9, 2015. Setbacks are a total pain in the… mouth. I won’t get in to too much details but a Monday trip to the dentist turned in to a Tuesday and Thursday trip to an oral surgeon. Thankfully after todays visit I am currently 100% pain-free, except for the obvious. The bad pain is gone. The good pain will be gone in a day or two. January 7, 2015. First race of 2015 – Hair of the dog 5k. Told me she had won the entry and was excited because she thought I was running it as well. I wasn’t and let her know that, but that changed the next day when I registered to race it and started putting together a quick race plan for myself. I didn’t PR unfortunately, I wasn’t far off, as my current PR since starting again in 2013 is standing at 23:25, and that was actually a training run, go figure. A little bit about me.
