Sunday, May 27, 2012. Steve and I went for a chilly morning hike at the cabin. Half way through we got caught in a hail storm. It was fun. Well it is fun if you have hair on your head. It hurt Steve's bald spot. The view from the top of our hike. Due to the weather the kids have been playing a lot of games, like checkers. And Jenga by the fire. Woke up to a couple bunnies in the yard. The kids loved watching them bounce around. I am pretty sure this one was guarding some babies,. She stood her ground.

Monday, October 22, 2012. A little freaked out. On our cabin trip this weekend, we saw two of these! They were not afraid of us! He saw us. Stopped. Waddled across the street towards us. Went under one side of the road, and out the other. And looked right at us. He is licking his chops. I think he wants to eat us. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Love weekend getaways with my family. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Last night Steve and I rode around the outskirts of Daybreak with friends on our beach cruisers. Fireworks were going off in all directions, we had a great view of dozens of displays. The streets had a steady flow of people doing the same as us, but it was still quiet and peaceful. Sunday, December 30, 2012. As I was getting for work one night, I was telling Steve it felt like I had a bug crawling around my bra biting me. I looked down, and found large blisters forming under my breast. They hurt. The next morning they had spread, and I went in for a doctor visit. He confirmed what I thought: shingles.
