Friday, February 21, 2014. Isla Janitzio, Michoacan. The island is in Lago de Patzcuero. The boat dock was an easy 30 minute walk from Villa Patzquero RV Park. For a round trip fare was 50 pesos per person we sailed in the Titanic (really! For the 25 minute trip to the island. We climbed to the Morelos monument at the summit, circumnavigated the island on a mid-level walkway, then stopped at a base level restaurant for a Michelada before boarding the return boat. Tres Amigos RV Park, Mazatlan.

Leaving Patzcuaro and the pretty Villa Patzcuaro Hotel/RV Park we drove around the bottom of Lago de Patzcuaro then up the west side of the lake.
