Our way of taking family and friends along with us. Archive for September, 2013. September 9, 2013. Today was all about getting out and wine tasting. It was a pretty standard day out there and not a lot of great things happened so I will keep it short and sweet. Here are the wineries we tasted today:. Bethel Heights: Another lovely tasting room with sweeping views of the valley. Nice wines; bought a couple of bottles. Brooks: Organic, bio-dynamic winery. Had a really nice experience there (see below) .

When I got to the bottom of the stairs, the crew seemed pretty impressed and even our Guest Relations person seemed happy that I’d survived. Tomorrow is a day at sea on our way to Malta. September 5, 2015. Tomorrow is Kotor and there is no doubt that it will be a tender. Let’s see how it goes…. Sailing out of Dubrovnik.

Our way of taking family and friends along with us. May 25, 2014. Before leaving Chinon, we stopped at a winery for some tasting. The tasting room was built into the side of a huge hill so it was dank and musty. In other words…perfect. The lady there was very nice and let us wander around the caves and take pictures after our tasting. We are ready for bed now. Tomorrow we visit more castles before heading back to Paris. He was invited to the Ryder Cup through his company and I was able to ride his coat tails all the way to Chicago to see it with him.
