The Harts at Home. We ventured out to Silent Lake Provincial Park. Last weekend, wanting to take advantage of at least one camping trip before summer was officially over. It is a beautiful park and we enjoyed perfect weather! Here is a snapshop of some of our activities at, shhhhhhhhhhh, Silent Lake. We set up camp and did some reading. We canoed around the lake, taking in the lush green scenery, smooth water, and peaceful surroundings. We built campfires and roasted marshmallows. Yum! It was a treat!

The Harts at Home. This past weekend involved going out to find a Christmas tree! We went to a tree farm expecting to cut one down, but were unable to. Maybe next year! She didn't flinch when we stopped to share a peppermint hot chocolate on the way home. Tradition in our family is to celebrate Advent as we prepare for the Christmas season. The Harts at Home. A couple of weeks ago, we held a Family Meeting to discuss the upcoming months and our joint "to do" list. Knowing that April, May, and June promised to be full and busy, one of the items on the list was assembling Poppy's room sooner than later. Today, one day into our 4-day weekend, it has been accomplished! There will probably be a few more finishing touches, but the stage is set for July. Thanks Kelly!
