Saturday, August 19, 2006. So, after several weeks of intending to sit down and get the ring set up, I decided that tonight was the night. DH is out playing poker, so I could devote myself to setting up the ring, no matter how long it took me. It took all of 5 minutes. The ring should be functional within the next day or so. Wednesday, November 08, 2006. We have one suggestion of knitting caps for the NICU. I recently took care of a dialysis patient who had a dialysis line "cozy" (to keep the line from irritating his skin). Alot of knitters have been making Tit Bits. During the month of October. There's also the Red Scarf Project. Etc If anyone has any ideas, feel free to leave them here. BTW - I am always on the lookout for any charities supporting efforts to fight Lung Cancer, and I recently saw that String Yarns.

The musings of an art historian who knits too much! Laquo; slow knitting progress. Wednesday, 15 October 2008. Wow - has it really been that long. Life has been super crazy. and blogging has slipped off the radar. But heres whats been happening since this summer. I spent a week in Baltimore with Kristin. Working and hanging out in her new digs. Work got even busier. Im not sure what happened to the month of September - or August for that matter. We went to Cape Cod on vacation. Life got even crazier.

Monday, May 14, 2007. I’ve had some intense, frustrating knitting over the past few weeks. After finishing the fingerless gloves for one of Z’s sisters, I moved on to this incredibly challenging bracelet. That’s a lot to take on! The yarn over was particularly hard for me even though it’s supposed to be the easiest. I understood how to go from knitting to yarn over to knitting. Fine.
