The saga of my growing Jeep collection. Sep 18, 2016. This was originally an L6-226 SuperHurricane. Power plant, with a rear D44. At some point previously, someone swapped in a Chevy 283 (from a '65 Chevelle, it would seem), power steering and a lot of rust (to hide the dents). It's got a Koenig PTO winch and PTO box along with the original (or at least period correct) T-90 transmission and Spicer 18 transfer case. What am I working on now? My wife told me to buy it. Under the dash, it looked like a can ...

The saga of my growing Jeep collection. Sep 18, 2016. Ok - it's not a Willys, but it is a Jeep and this one is my daily driver. I'd intended to keep it stock, you know - so I'd have a nice daily driver under warranty. Unfortunately, I can't leave well enough alone. What am I working on now? Current Specs for my Wrangler. Reading OBDII Codes - on the cheap! How I killed my Dana 35. Last modified on November 04, 2007, at 06:31 AM.

The saga of my growing Jeep collection. Sep 18, 2016. Hmmwhen you google it, you come up with entries that refer to it as "the monster". Is that really a good thing? I found one of these 10-band vertical antennas (80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15 , 12, 10, 6 and 2) on Craigslist for a price that I couldn't pass up (less than a third of new). So I jumped in the TJ and took a drive, returning home with a partially disassembled antenna scattered throughout the Jeep. The antenna was a bit corroded (aluminum oxide - no...

The saga of my growing Jeep collection. Sep 18, 2016. Last year (2007), a friend called and asked if I knew anyone who wanted a 1981 CJ-7 Renegade. He'd had it since it was only a few months old and wanted it to go to a good home, rather than have it hacked up into a buggy of some sort. Aside from an empty engine bay, it was in good condition, with some surface rust but not much else wrong. In addition to the Jeep itself, he had two hard tops, a soft top, soft doors and full hard doors that went with it.

The saga of my growing Jeep collection. Sep 18, 2016. A record of my saga with a growing collection of Jeeps. I don't have a ton of time, between work, a pair of young sons and a marriage I wish to maintain - but I really do enjoy working on them a bit at a time. At the current rate, I should be done before any of the Jeeps double in age, but not much earlier. We're now a native IPv6. Am I, perhaps, the first IPv6. Willys site on the Internet?
