Dogs have always been a part of my life and I currently own two - Billy a 10 year old dalmatian and Lola a 6 year old terrier cross. I have trained them in both agility and obedience and regularly compete with Lola in agility. I have spent two years training for my diploma in Therapeutic Canine Massage. The initial treatment will last between 1 to 1 ½ hours and will include a full consultation where I will discuss with you the dog’s activities of daily living, exercise, diet and medical history as well as the results you would like to see from the massage. I will then do postural and gait analysis with the dog moving at different speeds. I will then do a full body palpation where I will feel for muscular issues such as scar tissue, trigger points, spasms and strains. Vet Consent Form (PDF).
