Notes from a WildCat Fan. Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Raptors That Live Next Door. A pair of Red-shouldered Hawks have taken up residence in my neighborhood and it is nesting season. I managed to get a few shots of the female from my film camera. I think it's the female because according to my field guide, the females are larger and I've seen them together. I do so love Warrior Princess's cat, Tiger, but he's a little quirky. He cannot be overstimulated. So he bit me back in July- wasn't his fault! When I reached over to scatch behind his ear, little did I know that he had previously been hanging out with FootballPlayinMan for a bit of canoodling . Come along and enjoy the ride! Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Big E and I ran the 33rd Marine Corps Marathon in DC on Sunday. and finished! Big E finished in 4:12 and I finished in 4:56. woohoo! I beat 5 hours and E beat Oprah! It's very surreal to have it over with. Months of training seemed to be over in a flash. The girls (especially KK) are glad that we are done training. she hated when we would leave to go run. So, what's next? October 29, 2008 at 10:17 AM. Great times, y'all! So proud of you, K!
