Thanks for our fun Frozen roller bags, Grandma Connie! Dad had a free Marriott night that had to be used by Saturday, so he had the great idea of driving down to Monterey on New Year's Eve, having dinner and watching a movie in the room before going to the aquarium on New Year's Day. We spent 2 1/2 hours swimming! Sugar cookie from Feel Good Bakery.

http://westcoastscribe.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Janies Zoo, Emma and Lily, too. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. I bought this sweater for Emma years ago (it's a 2T) and she wore it nearly every day until quite recently. Lily put it on after Emma went to school, and told me she thought her sister would be mad. It's time for this sweater to be passed on to little sister, who will outgrow it soon. Wild Geese, for my Dad. Https:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sisters in the spirit. My new hobby thanks to Mary! Friday, March 13, 2015. The photos...

Janie's Zoo, Emma & Lily, too: Lily art
http://westcoastscribe.blogspot.com/2015/08/lily-art.html
Janies Zoo, Emma and Lily, too. Monday, August 10, 2015. Lily is quite the perfectionist when it comes to her art, as in she is one to crumble up a piece of paper and toss it to the ground in frustration if not satisfied. She's quite good with detail. This was a preschool pigeon project. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Dukes of Manhattan. Cousins Mabel and Elena. Owen, Henry and Charlie. View my complete profile. 1st grade and Pre-K! Escaped from the Rock! Janey Mac, some people call me that.

Janies Zoo, Emma and Lily, too. Monday, August 31, 2015. 1st grade and Pre-K! Emma's front tooth is hanging on by a string giving her a fang-like appearance. :) She took the hand of a new girl in her class who was crying this morning and walked her into the school, which made me quite proud. Lily is loving Pre-K and they will begin their letters curriculum next week. Saturday, August 22, 2015. Escaped from the Rock! Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Janey Mac, some people call me that. http://westcoastscribe.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Janies Zoo, Emma and Lily, too. Friday, November 28, 2014. Fun Friday at Cal women's basketball. Emma (and mom) love Coach Lindsay (Gottlieb). When I messaged her Happy Thanksgiving and that I didn't have to go to 49ers today and we were going to come to the game, she said she'd just leave us tickets for her seats. How fun! Lily enjoyed waving her pom-pom and meeting the bear mascot, Oskie. This is such a cool idea: Kids, read 10 hours and turn in your bookmark for a free ticket. She is also doing tap, j...

Janie's Zoo, Emma & Lily, too: Garden meals
http://westcoastscribe.blogspot.com/2015/08/garden-meals.html
Janies Zoo, Emma and Lily, too. Monday, August 10, 2015. I've been roasting any tomatoes that won't get eaten right away to either save for pasta sauce or even to freeze to put in soups over the winter. A bit of garlic roasted softens and smashes into a paste (I add a bit of water) for nice flavor. Sauteed shishito peppers are a great side dish or appetizer, just cook them until completely blistered, with some olive oil, kosher salt and pepper. They've been growing well!
