Thanks to everybody who made it out to Yacht Club last night! Uncle Phil rocked the stage until midnight and then I took the decks until bar close, and the dancers did not disappoint. Since I won't be DJing at Yacht for a couple months due to my summer job, I decided to put together a minimix in Ableton today using some of the tracks I played last night, enjoy. Chemical Brothers - Morning Lemon. Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Discotech - What You Got. MIA - Boyz (Twelves rmx). Fred Falke - Colours.

New Set, New Remix. My friends from Barrington formed a new band recently that's been receiving quite a bit of positive attention. Mike Sanfillippo, the lead singer, recently made it to the top 50 round on American Idol, and the band has been featured on the NY Times as well as The Next Big Sound. Mike recently asked me if I could try remixing one of their tracks, Saving Seconds. And I would recommend checking out their Myspace. Especially the track Extraball. On their first album, Away From The Sea.

The time moves slower on finals week. Sick and tired of making playlists so I decided to record yet another set this week. TIME's first track is Apollo, We Are Happy Plants' newest single. It features a great quote from the movie The Man From Earth. Which I would definitely recommend watching.or just listening to-besides the dialogue, the movie is incredibly boring. So don't miss out!
