It was his first time playing and he improved A LOT throughout the season. He was actually a pretty consistent hitter. At one point in the season his coach pulled me aside and told me he led the team in hits, which made me smile. I guess his one-man hitting practices out in the backyard paid off. Kalei's Karate studio is having their 10 year anniversary and to celebrate the are offering a 10 classes for $10 special so I decided it was time to see how strong I really am.physically. I did it. I joined Tae Kwon Do and had my first class. It totally whipped my butt! I probably did it wrong, but at least I didn't do the wimpy lady push-ups. I held my body weight! Tha saga continues. (And NO! I never had prime rib, goat cheese scalloped potatoes, and shrimp and grits as hors d'oeuvres before but, hey, this is Atlanta! Of course, you have a full bar available. We all dressed in our aprons that we got for Christmas (thanks grandma and grandpa poopie) and made some yummy cupcakes and a little cake. It was so fun and the cake was delicious!
