Tuesday, July 6, 2010. We got up at Ellen's, ate some of our voodoo doughnuts for breakfast, then headed to catch the ferry into Seattle. In Seattle, our first stop was the Space Needle! We finished the drive into Columbia Falls to Sheila's house, a gorgeous home her husband built. We spent the evening uploading pictures, and figuring out our budget after car repairs. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Wild, Wild Wyoming. After leaving Sheila's, we miraculously didn't get distracted at all and were within an hour of Yellowstone with daylight to spare. We camped at Squire Rock State Park, right next to a tributary of the Gallatin River. Across the road were the Sulphur Springs, which actually didn't smell as bad as I expected. Thursday, July 8, 2010. The temperature was nice, the sun was out, but it was wet and snowy. Their heads are massive, and they just run right up the hills, I don't know how they don't fall over.
