Descends from the wild New Zealand horses of the Kaimanawa Mountain range of the central plateau of the North Island of New Zealand. Many of our ancestral owners of the Kaimanawa Honey LP business were reliant on this mode of transport and these sturdy sure footed horses are once again becoming commonplace on many New Zealand lifestyle properties. Dream is one of the Walters family’s stable of these beautiful animals.

Kaimanawa Honey LP is a joint venture partnership established November 2014 between East Taupo Lands Trust and Comvita New Zealand. In 2014/15 more than 3,000 hives were placed on East Taupo lands. More recently for the 2015/16 season this number increased and exceeded 4,500 hives with continued population of hives on East Taupo lands sites including the recently developed Runanga farm block and Hautu Rangipo sites.
