Sunday, July 05, 2009. The Fifth of July. 2 BBQs, a parade and an assortment of dogs that scared the beejeezus out of Kaley and me were not enough to deter an action packed Sunday. The morning started off with a big old Oakland fire truck. Rolling down our street to inspect properties (you know, fire. Prevention in the hills). Luckily, we had our grand estate cleared of brush and ivy just a week before. Then we drove over the Richmond bridge to attend the Marin County Fair. The Fifth of July.

Monday, January 5, 2009. We spent nearly 2 weeks in southern California with family. Here are the Inadomi girl cousins: Cami(2), Katherine(11), Melanie(16), Emma(5), and Lia (8). Kekoa and Kam . Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Big Bear part 2. They lasted 3 hours on our hike to Castle Rock! There was a lot of climbing and slipping on the sandy rock but the weather was perfect and spirits were high. Kam was FILTHY after about 20 minutes. Fishing for the first time out on the lake. Summer = cousin time. Friday, August 15, 2014. After three years together, it's a bittersweet time to say goodbye and move onto kindergarten. Going to miss all of these rascals. Sunday, July 8, 2007. Welcome Jasper Chen Machule who was born on July 6th at 4:32am. He weighed a whopping 8 pounds, 11 ounces! Suzie pulled an all-nighter (maybe her first) in order to be at the birth. It was awesome! Happy Fourth of July. Suzie took Ryan and Lia up to Tahoe Donner to stay at the Machule's vacation house. We spent a lot of time with the Kumamoto and Fang-Horvath families who were staying in. Cami was baptized on Father's Day. We also celebrated her birthday that weekend.

Friday, August 22, 2008. Lia had been thinking about getting her ears pierced for several months, maybe even a year. But she wanted to wait for the right time. Lia is standing is a spot that used to be covered under 8 feet of rock. This space will eventually become a new master bedroom and bathroom.
