A glimpse into my life as a wife, mother, daughter, and woman. Sunday, November 02, 2008. Last Sunday Erik and I went to The Glacier Brewhouse. The appetizer that I ordered was Portobello and Tomato Bruschetta. It is so yummy. It is wood-grilled portobello's, roma tomatoes, kalamata olives, basil, shallots and extra virgin olive oil served with crusty toasted baguette and blue cheese spread. Heaven on toast! So today I made my own and Erik (who HATES olives and fresh tomatoes) LOVED it!

With people trekking Northwest trails this summer, a veteran Vancouver hiker was recalling one young backpacker who didn't quite get it right. http://eagle-scouter.blogspot.com/2006/09/leadership.html
Scouting.and why it is Important. Friday, September 22, 2006. I went to the Gathering of Eagles. We had a wonderful speaker, Jim Morrris, a former operative for the Central Intelligence Agency, whose life was portrayed in the movie “Spy Games”. While he talked about some of his experiences, he kept coming back to. Remember.Leadership is not only being able to get people to follow you, but it is also the willingness to walk in their shoes.
