Woohoo Inspired is back! February 9, 2013. I am so pleased that inspired blue prints is up and running again, i saw the sketch and really wanted to give it a shot, so here is sketch #82. To play along pop over to Inspired Blueprints. I flipped the sketch and adapted it to my smaller 8.5 by 11 size, it is a very versatile sketch that can be adapted easily. This is the first layout that i have done at home in so long, i must say it took me a long time to complete. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Scraps of Five.: Day to Day: Mother's Day
http://www.scrapsoffive.com/2015/05/day-to-day-mothers-day.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. Day to Day: Mother's Day. I love Mother's Day. The kids gave me a gorgeous new teapot. I love teapots. And tea. And the kids, surprisingly. This year Steve asked if for Mother's Day I would like a new sewing machine. I looked around to see what I could get and I didn't really want to replace my existing 419S with a similar model as my machine is still going strong after 10 years. I asked around and a few people had recently bought a Horizon. What's that? Blogged by Beth Jarrett.

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Sewing: 501 Quilt Blocks Week 27. I have no idea where they get some of these names from. The block this week is called "54-40 or Fight". Whatever is that meant to mean? I guess it kind of looks like a ninja star? Blogged by Beth Jarrett. Labels: 501 Quilt Blocks. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I mostly blog about my family, travel, and crafting endeavours. Right now after being on Michelle Bridges 12WBT for 10 weeks, I am a little over both types! Blogged by Beth Jarrett. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, October 12, 2013. Some sharing to do! Hello it's been some time since I have shared on here, I would like to share with you some of the layouts. That I did recently at the Savydelights retreat. The first I was inspired by Lisa Oxley who has an amazing eye for colour and I was truly inspired by her use of mists. The second layout was also done with use of the techniques and one of the tags that I made in the Delights class. Love the way this page come together! Thank you for being you.

http://www.scrapsoffive.com/2015/05/sewing-501-quilt-blocks-week-26.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. Sewing: 501 Quilt Blocks Week 26. Technically I've been sharing these blocks for half a year! That's probably the longest I've ever lasted at anything. The block this week is called Storm at Sea. I kind of like how it looks round, but with all straight-ish lines. I call them straight-ish because some of these blocks are quite dodgy. Scraps of Five.: Scrapbooking: Lucky
http://www.scrapsoffive.com/2015/08/scrapbooking-lucky.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I haven't scrapbooked in what feels like ages. Needless to say, it was a real struggle to get going. So then in the end, I cut the background down to 8.5x11 and it seemed a lot more manageable. Hmm, I probably should have used a ruler when gluing the journalling down. Blogged by Beth Jarrett. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Sewing: 501 Quilt Blocks Week 30. This week's block is called Album. I dropped into the quilting shop at Wagga and picked up that gorgeous dark green fabric. You know, I'm still unpicking at least one seam on these things still. Sometimes my brain can't work these things out. Blogged by Beth Jarrett. Labels: 501 Quilt Blocks.
