The Causey Adventure Series. Friday, September 23, 2011. The Army 10 miler is coming up October 9. Charles, Nick and I will all be running in that. I've been trying to squeeze my running in around doing math. Today I ran 9 miles (uphill both ways) in the pouring rain. We've plugged into Crossways Free Church in Manassas and the kids all enjoy the youth programs. Charles and I are joining a small group Bible Study and that also starts next week. Life As We Know It. Thursday, March 21, 2013. A sad, little desk and an ugly chair met in my workshop. Maggie named the desk "Rosalina." I named the chair "Phoebe.". They became fast friends. Life As We Know It. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. The Evolution of a Room. Anyway, he thought I was insane, because everything in my house was oak. So I caved. Take my advice. Don't cave. Hold your ground. This is how things looked many moons ago. We don't even have that furniture anymore. Anyway, I painted the walls AND the ceiling yellow. Emphasis on the YELL. Life As We Know It. Friday, July 27, 2012. Camp is over - Mags had a fabulous time at horse camp. She was clean, hair brushed and her suitcase was packed neatly to come home. Jake had a fabulous time at camp as well. He was filthy (did not shower once), had all of his belongings in a garbage bag (including his empty suitcase) and was wearing his pajama shorts.
