I was washing dishes one afternoon in my kitchen, cursing the still green grass, hoping for snow, and I asked God, What should my word be for next year? And He said, Duh. Discipline. I replied. And then I said a swear word. A bad one. And because I’m Kallay, and not a devout nun, I actually argued with Jesus. We had quite a row. You guys, I was so mad. And I’m tired of hard.
