Today I left the front room for just a couple of minutes to put away some laundry, and when I came back Joaquin had climbed into the laundry hamper. Friday, September 19, 2008. Croquet and S'Mores (Idaho). My grandparents have always owned a cabin out on Blackfoot Reservoir in Soda Springs, ID. I have so many fantastic memories associated with this place! A couple of days after the fourth, we decided to go spend a day at the cabin. The kids had a great time playing together and Joaquin really enjoyed the attention he got from his cousins. Poor Detroit was having a little bit of a reaction to her sunscreen.). Detroit got some croquet tips from Grandpa.

Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Detroit's birthday fell on a Tuesday this year, which also happened to be her last basketball game of the season. We got to cheer Detroit on, and she played really well! It is amazing how much she has improved! To celebrate her birthday we let Detroit choose where she wanted to go eat after the game, and she chose.RED LOBSTER! She was so excited, but she had a hard time choosing between the Clam Chowder and the Snow Crab Legs. (Yes, pretty good taste for a 10 year old, huh? As she...

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. We bought a cute little house in Roswell that has three bedrooms, one bathroom and a what used to be a really small/unfunctional kitchen. (By the way, we bought the house fully furnished so none of the stuff in the "first" kitchen was ours.). Here is what the kitchen looked like:. Entry way from the hall). That is all there was. To the kitchen.). Notice how close our fridge and back door are! And here is our NEW kitchen! Complete with a pantry (built into the entry way). The har...

I even saw a couple of kids who were in my very first kindergarten class.who at the time of our trip were in 9th grade! Although we di...

Kallunki Family: Grandma Bobbie & Grandpa Brad
http://jandtkallunki.blogspot.com/2011/05/grandma-bobbie-grandpa-brad.html
Monday, May 30, 2011. Grandma Bobbie and Grandpa Brad. We were so lucky to have G-ma and G-pa Egbert come and visit. They were able to be here for Detroit's 5th grade graduation and we had a lot of fun with them in town! We sure wish they (or we) lived a lot closer! The last night they were here I snapped some cute pics of them hanging out with the kiddos. Helping Detroit "remember" how to ride her bike. Seriously, I thought no one forgot how to do that. Sorry kiddo, just kidding! May 31, 2011 at 2:53 PM.
