Monday, January 28, 2008. Well, Alisha's birthday is finally over and maybe now we can get back to normal life. It seems like birthday activities have taken over and have consumed not just one day of celebration, but actually a couple of weeks! On Monday the 21st of January, (MLK Day) she spent the day at Sundance Resort snowboarding with Austin and her good friend Brianne Baugh. On Thursday the 24th, I took her to get hair cut and also get some blond highlights (something she has wanted for about a year!

Thursday, May 29, 2008. The Kallunki's go GREEN! The end of April, we bought this new car. It's a Chevy Cavalier that runs on CNG (compressed natural gas) as well as on regular fuel. The great thing about CNG is that it is only 63.8 cents per gallon! Sunday, August 24, 2008. Missy is such a funny dog. She loves to lay by the side of our bed and just be near me. Recently she was in her usual place and Matt threw a T-shirt on her head but instead of getting up and shaking it off, she just laid there.for about 15 minutes! She's such a calm, sweet dog.I love her! I love the way she comes in to wake me up in the morning, sitting calmly for a minute or two before nudging me with her cold, wet nose if I don't pay attention to the fact that she's there.

Friday, September 19, 2008. Croquet and S'Mores (Idaho). My grandparents have always owned a cabin out on Blackfoot Reservoir in Soda Springs, ID. I have so many fantastic memories associated with this place! A couple of days after the fourth, we decided to go spend a day at the cabin.
