Mj's Tri Blog: Some consistency
http://mjtriblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/some-consistency.html
Workouts and Race Reports of a Triathlete in Victoria. Monday, January 4, 2010. Since I received a gym pass for my birthday, I have been able to get in the gym quite a bit lately. It is really nice to be able to work on my core and upper body, which lacked in strength last year. I am now working out at least once a day, and eating well again. Helps you get in shape, but I'm just not ready, and mentally no good can come from it. I might volunteer at it though. That's all for now. A Really Good Blog.

Workouts and Race Reports of a Triathlete in Victoria. Sunday, March 21, 2010. It's Been a While! Wow it has got to be at least a month since my last post. Here is an update on what is going on with my training/life right now. My new job is fantastic! I work with great people and being a "banker" is a pretty entertaining profession right now. I just nailed a presentation on the economic forecasts of the main economies HSBC invests in, and I love the people I work with. That being said, I have been enjoyi...

Mj's Tri Blog: November 2009
http://mjtriblog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Workouts and Race Reports of a Triathlete in Victoria. Friday, November 27, 2009. Getting my sh*t together. Well I have been home for two weeks already! I am finally getting used to the ridiculous. Weather that we have here on the west coast. I think it was amazing timing that I came home and had 12 days straight of rain. How much you get used to the sun when you are out of this climate. I never realized how depressing it is here when you don't even know the sun exists for a week. Anyhow I am still takin...

Noa Deutsch: April 2010
http://ptcoaching.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
April 25, 2010. This morning, the streets of downtown Victoria were filled with thousands of runners participating in the TC10k. Among those thousands, were 7 of my athletes: Leif. And Mark, who did pretty well despite running on very tired legs. It went something like this:. It was a bit of a last second decision for Adam to enter the race, but I am glad he did! PB) Not bad for a long course triathlete at the end of a tough 3 week build, eh? Oh, Adam is also getting married next Sunday! He managed to ge...

February 22, 2010. Sunny (except for today) Tucson. I am in Tucson with Kamal. For a training camp. The flight was OK, and so was the drive from Phoenix to Tucson, until Adam and I got kind of lost looking for a Trader Joe's. Good thing we wrote down the instruction to get to the house because my phone (with the GPS) died and we didn't have a map. Here are some pictures from day #2. Kamal and Derek before this afternoon's run. Links to this post. February 1, 2010. The barefoot running bandwagon. If one m...

January 26, 2010. The bad, the good and the great. Think back, reflect on the best teachers or coaches you ever had. Chances are, it wasn't what they taught you that made you love learning from them. It was likely their personality, unique way of delivering information, ability to lite a fire in your belly and make you work harder than you ever though possible. I had many coaches between the ages of 5 and 22. Some were bad, some were good, and a few were great. One thing to remember though, is that there...

http://pharmercy.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tati's thoughts on Mercy. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. 66 days left. Just 3 days shy of 9 weeks. A little more than 2 months. I guess it's safe to say that the count down has somewhat officially started. 66 days until I leave. Sometimes, it seems a bit crazy to think that the day that I was waiting over a year and a bit for is now on my doorstep. It's making me come to terms with the fact that this is actually happening. Well, I suppose that it will have to be. Links to this post. I was born and raised ...

Tati's thoughts on Mercy. Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Wee Word Wednesday - Hula Hoop. The last two Saturdays, we've had a hula hoop in our box of toys to bring to the orphanage, Maison Bethel. Now, I don't mean to brag.but once upon a time, I used to be a hula hoop champion. All photos courtesy of Dr. Leo Cheung). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bringing hope and healing.".
