The year my teenager became an actual human. May 22, 2015. 8216;The beast stomped down the hallway, its bedroom door thrown open so hard, it hit the wall(or it would have had a rubber stopper not been applied for such occurrences). In the kitchen, the family inhaled a collective breath. The mother greeted the beast by its former name, frightened to illicit the wrong reaction this early in the day. The beast was known to be at her worst on waking. The beast grunted and yanked open the double pantry doors.

Buttery, orange pumpkin from my Dad’s garden (where everything grows wild and free) and a sugar free jam that impressed the kids and we have a winner! Dad’s pumpkins are the best! 1 tablespoon hot water. 1/2 cup dextrose powder. 1 cup cooked, mashed pumpkin. 2 cups Self Raising flour – (1 and 3/4 cups if using gluten free SR flour). Pumpkin scones – gluten free on left, normal flour on right. 1/2 cup Rice Bran Syrup. Liked by 1 person.

Tests have shown high levels of an antioxidant called Anthocyanin(also found in other purple foods like purple carrots and blueberries), known to prevent and treat a range of health problems including obesity and related diseases, such as diabetes. I’m much better at sticking to the exercise plan than I am at sticking to the food plan. My abdominal strength is pathetic. My upper body strength is worse than my abdominal strength.
