滋賀県米原市には寛政11年 1799年 に建てられた山本勘太夫の神楽墓があり、近隣の村には 山本勘太夫が剣三番叟を失敗し、剣が喉元に突き刺さり当地で死亡した との伝承が残っている。 後に、他に廃業した家元である旧加藤孫太夫 旧森本長太夫 旧伊藤森蔵 旧加藤源太夫(責任者 廣瀬文太)の檀那場を一部引き継ぎ、現在に至る。

About of tayū village. 古くは上上野村 かみうえのむら と称していたが、村の全戸が神職 大神楽を生業とする神楽職と尾張国津島神社の御師である師職に二分される に従事していたため、桑名藩主松平定綱 在任１６３５ １６５１年 が村名を太夫村と改めたと言われる。 About of Masuda Shrin. 祭神は天照大神 武御雷命 経津主命 保食命の四柱である。 About of Ise-daikagura Kōsha.
