The Life and Times of Kelly and Ryan. Sunday, August 8, 2010. Summer in Michigan and Chicago. He decidedly does not like birthday cake. He did, however, like the sand and the sun, two things that are hard to come by in England. Maybe when we move back he can experience those more often. Here are some pictures from our vacation:. The Life and Times of Kelly and Ryan. Sunday, August 9, 2009. Leaving on a Jet Plane. So Arie is already over 2 months old! Time is flying by. I thought that it would be a bit boring to be on maternity leave, but he has been keeping me plenty busy. We are taking a bus from Cambridge to Heathrow (a 2.5 hour bus ride) and then we have an 8 hour flight plus waiting time at the airport so it should be quite an adventure with a 2 month old. Whatever happens, vacation is at the other end. Leaving on a Jet Plane.

We're going to the states again for 12 days around Christmas and very much looking forward to it. The Life and Times of Kelly and Ryan. Thursday, June 16, 2011. Great Ormond Street follow up. Yesterday we had our 1 month follow up with the amazing cardiology team from Great Ormond Street. Thankfully they come up to Addenbrookes a couple times a month so we didn't have to go back down to London to see them. They checked out his chest incision and chest drain sites which are now pretty much completely healed and were very happy with how they looked. My really big deal. The cheeks are coming along nicely.

Where are the DeGroots? Tuesday, July 28, 2009. The Condo Work Resumes/Continues. We have re-started work on the condo after another break! CJ had a few weeks where work in the lab was slow, so he got a lot done around the condo. Though many of them were smaller projects, it feels SO good to have progress! We filled our huge dumpster with all kinds of things left behind by previous owners. It was long, dirty job, but it felt good to get it done! Here are some pictures and some of other projects completed.
