Then I asked all the kids to tell me what their favorite thing about first grade is. I'm too embarrassed to share how old Erik is. The kids had fun and that's the most important thing, right? Winter Break in the Mountains. The first thing we did when we got to the mountain house was decorate the tree. I hate not having a tree so late because it just doesn't feel like the holidays to me until the tree is up and presents are wrapped! The first five days we were there it RAINED and I'm not just talking a little rain it was huge, fat drops and a lot of them!

Some of my favorite things that Vincent does are the shy smile, he laughs easily, sucks his thumb, "kisses" me and Kristine, drinks out of a sippy cup and touches things with his pointer finger. We love you Vincent and are so happy you are in our family. When he sucks his thumb he likes to put something over his face. Silly me didn't take any pictures on Thanksgiving!
