An emotional time… – Angelyn Smolders
https://angelynsmolders.wordpress.com/2014/04/05/an-emotional-time
April 5, 2014. We are nearing the end of our two years at Lambton College, and I am feeling very emotional about it. Last night was ‘First Friday’ in Sarnia, and three of my talented classmates had a gallery show of their work. It was such a beautiful evening and I am so very proud of them. I am hanging my work at ‘The Watermark’ today and looking forward to the opening night on Thursday, April the 10th. I am fairly certain that some tears will be shed. The Walkervilles Photo Shoot. Guatemala, Graduation and the National Post. June 25, 2014. June 25, 2014. The suspected Lev Tahor in Guatemala. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. I thought that life would slow down after finishing up two years at Lambton College in the Digital Photography program, but it has done the opposite; it has been insanely busy! I want to thank my mentor and friend David Chidley for helping me along in reaching this goal. One thought on “ Guatemala, Graduation and the National Post. I am ver...

April 22, 2014. April 22, 2014. It is the official final week of our Digital Photography Diploma program at Lambton College. It is an emotional time for us. We have all grown together on so many levels. We have made new and life-long friends and mentors. We are the pioneers in the program; the first to graduate from it and to go forth with the immense knowledge and experience that we have gained. The past two years has been a wondrous photographic, artistic, creative journey and I am elated that I have b...

Musical Intimacy – Angelyn Smolders
https://angelynsmolders.wordpress.com/2014/04/10/musical-intimacy
April 10, 2014. I have been pretty quiet as of late due to the fact that we are nearing the end of the term at school as I mentioned in my previous blog…. We are just SWAMPED with work. I feel like a hamster on a wheel, but I love it all the same. I still cannot believe we are nearing the end of our student careers at Lambton College in the Digital Photography program. It seems so surreal. It’s the end, but it’s also just the beginning. The Detroit Institute of Arts →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Janet S...

The Detroit Institute of Arts. April 15, 2014. Detroit City is only an hour’s drive away from Sarnia. I have attended many concerts in the area and often drive there to enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown in Greektown. I had not yet been to the Detroit Institute of Arts until this past January. Am I ever glad I went! I had just begun my last term of Digital Photography. The visit to the DIA provided so much inspiration in the weeks to come. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
