Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Well, I am officially 32. Thirtysomething. When I was 31 I could pretend I was still sort of 30, but now I'm in my 30s. We had a great weekend. On the morning of my actual birthday yesterday Mr. Ibis had to go to work at 2 am but when I woke up there was a gift and a card waiting for me. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Meeting of the Mommies. I'm going to a meetup today at a park. It's a group that was originally founded around an interest in homebirth but was expanded to include parents interested in "natural life" in general. There aren't a lot of meetup groups in my city so this was kind of the closest I could find to like-minded people in my area, but I'm afraid I won't click with them very well. One eye-roller for me was a discussion about the "continuum concept,". Yes, MORE on sleep.

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. A Day in the Life. I did my best to take photos through the course of one fairly typical day with Miles - one of the days when Mr. I is out of town. Saturday, May 29, 2010. At four and a half months old, Miles's personality is emerging. He's a mostly mellow boy but will tell you with great insistence when he wants something. Crying is something he does only when at the end of his rope or physically injured. When he's hungry he'll first try TALKING LOUDLY and then yelling at you. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Mr Ibis and I are in Talks about planning baby #2. I remembered why this is on the mind lately, and it's because we set ourselves a deadline of January, just after Miles's 12 mo well baby, to get our health insurance straightened out. We'd heard that we might have to have a 6 month waiting period to get a maternity rider added to our plan and so we didn't want to wait too long, aiming to have Baby 2 sometime around Miles's 2nd birthday. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Hello again old friend. Well, I am out of the running for an 11-11-11 baby, as my dear old Aunt Flo arrived two nights ago. The blog jinx may have struck again, double whammy style, as I recently posted that Miles was sleeping great and I still hadn't had my period. Then Tuesday night Miles was up for 4 hours (!
