Thursday, November 6, 2014. I volunteered to do Art Cart for Elizabeth's class. This was my first lesson. We did color mixing.with frosting! How to achieve that beautiful purplish brown color! Sunday, July 26, 2015. Her Majesty's Tea Room. Here is a little hidden gem that we have just discovered thanks to a dear aunt. A real British high tea experience right here in Illinois. Part gift shop, part tea room - it's just adorably eclectic! Elizabeth has already asked to go back! Elizabeth thought it was so cool to "meet" her Queen! The good witch was hidden inside an adorable little cottage! Lots of hats to try on! I just loved this chandelier! She is kissing a frog with her big wax lips.

Sunday, May 31, 2015. To wear her out we borrow the neighbors labs and have them come over and play with her! We hope to have a puppy class graduate in our midst next week! Sunday, January 25, 2015. Jan 25th finally came and we got to bring our puppy home. It was a 4 hour drive one way and it rained the whole way there . and the whole way home! I had contacted our vet for advice on picking out a puppy and he gave some excellent and very helpful advice. When you are looking at 7 adorable puppies - it is really hard to choose! Thursday, February 12, 2015. We finally got enough snow to really be able to play and it wasn't freezing cold. Great packing snow meant mom and dad bundled up too and helped build a big snowman! Sunday, July 26, 2015. Elizabeth has been swimming for the last two years but this summer is the first time she has wanted to compete. Ok, maybe saying that she wanted to might be a stretch. We told her she needed to try it so she would know if she liked it. Otherwise we had probably gotten out of swimming what we needed to get. Not to our surprise, she loves it! Last night after she conquered the fly, she said, "I'm ready for the IM now! We were lucky to have Stella swimming with us at the beginning!
