Monday, March 4, 2013. We then went over to the Jefferson Memorial so that we could go on the paddle boats, thankfully it was not a hot day! Those things are hard to paddle around, especially when your paddle boat if filled with little kids that can hardly paddle. Fun times were had by all! Back to School Fall 2012. Tate - 3rd Grade. Gage - 1st Grade. Connor - 5th Grade. I love these three crazy boys. Lily has the most contagious smile! Gage and Eva - best little buddies. The Hunger Games - Redneck Style.

Depends if you like monsoon rains for the first few days, followed by super humidity and 80 degrees in late September! So we braved the elements and were soaked between museums and such. Monday, May 14, 2012. A Rainy Day at the White House. We spent a rainy morning at the White House Garden Tour. It was very wet and a little chilly, but always fun to be at the White House. We stopped at the Iwo Jima Marine Memorial - I love this memorial, it is never busy and I love the peace there. Every war that the Marines have been involved in is etched in the memorial. This is a must see. At the White House amidst the plethora of umbrellas. More Outings with the Grandparents. NYC with Mel and Kathi.

He placed second and was thrilled with his victory, and thankfully was as good a winner as he had been when he was the loser. Monday, March 4, 2013. The Hunger Games - Redneck Style. Each boy had a backpack, prepacked with a little food and water and nothing else - they had to be checked to ensure there was no contraband. When the whistle blew they were to grab their backpacks and whatever else they could and get out of the cornucopia area before they were killed. Madeline, 4 and a half years, Weston, almost 3, and Luci, 7 months. I happened to schedule these on the hottest day of July- it was over 100 degrees at 8:00pm! Monday, June 29, 2009. All the Jacobsen cousins. Every year we take a picture this year there were 4 new cousins. Braycen and the big hamburger.
