Monday, February 25, 2008. We are now in China. Actually we have been in China for a while now but I have been having trouble accessing the blogger site to post an update. So here it finally is. China has been a totally new experience. Totally different from Japan. Basically they are about as oposite as you can get. Where Japan is polite, China is pushy, dirty rather than clean, loud instead of serene. The strip is much what I would expect Times Square in New York to look like. March 4-19: Osaka, Japan.

Saturday, February 9, 2008. As much as I am ready to leave Okinawa it really has been fun. A large group of us were able to make a two hour bus trip to the Okinawa Aquarium. It was absolutely amazing. It boasts the worlds largest tank, and I would believe it. Contained within their main attraction were 3 whale sharks. For those of you that dont know, they are absolutely huge! Its great after only having salt water bucket showers for the past month! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Anyways, my internet time is up. I hope you are all doing well and keeping warm. I hope Japan has chocolate . . . As for the Japanese keyboards I can totally sympathize with you. I think for the most part I am used to it by now, but buttons are defiantely in wrong places and very easy to turn it into Japanese. I am impressed that you figured out how to get it back to English, that is what took me the longest. :). Did you have MacDonalds too? Have fun and let me know what to see.

Saturday, January 19, 2008. All in all Guam has been great, but I am looking forward to heading back to sea. Our next passage will be to Okinawa and should take about 10-12 days depending on the weather. I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm! Thanks so much taking time to write your blog! I spend what feels like hours daily reading news from the Grace. It sounds like Guam was pretty incredible and im glad you got a pillow. Did you remember to get an extra toothbrush as well?
