Karate je jako horká voda,která chladne, když ji stále neohříváš. Funakoshi. Plány na rok 2015-16. Zkoušky na STV KYU. Zkoušky na STV DAN. Zkušební ř. STV-NOVÉ! Aktualizace 13.8.2014. Pavol Vašek založil oddíl Karate klub Sokolov na 8.ZŠ, kdy po nějaké době se od tohoto oddílu odtrhl a založil nový oddíl. Nový oddíl s názvem Karate-Do Sokolov byl založen v roce 1996. Cvičilo se jak v Sokolově, tak i v Lokti. Součtem těchto dvou oddílů dalo dohromady 120 členů. Dnes se ustálil počet členů oddílu na 23.

In 1957, the first official Karate-Do. Competitions were held. Subsequently, its practice veered in a new direction, more or less borrowed from Judo. A trophy was now the goal to reach. Yet, interesting or gratifying an experience this may be, of what use is a trophy once the goal has been met? Mainly practiced today as a meditative and energizing form of exercise, Tai Chi Chuan. Is much more than that. It’s a highly advanced Martial Art. We offer a traditional practice of Karate-Do Shotokan.
