Saturday, November 13, 2010. This module looked at RSS ( Rich Site Summary) and Google Reader. I hadn't heard of either of these and don't have a personal use for them but I can see the value for people who regularly visit the same sites. It is easy to use and the purpose is to connect the reader to various websites. Instead of having to visit your regular websites, you subscribe (free of charge) and any new information comes straight to the reader. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Saturday, May 22, 2010. There would be endless uses in the classroom. It will provide instant feedback for students writing. They can upload their work for others to read and this will also allow parents to find out more about what their children are learning. When setting group assignments all members can be working on the document at the same time. This will allow the teacher to monitor if all members of the group are participating. Well I'm back again! I look forward to the next module.
