Adventures in Orthodoxy: September 2012
http://adventuresinorthodoxy.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 13, 2012. How many have fretted when their sons and daughters have sullied their childhood innocence with youthful rebellions and sinful follies? And how many have interceded on their behalf, approaching the throne of God for their children’s sake, to beg for the forgiveness of sins and a right relationship with God? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some Paraguay blogs I read. This is probably just an audacious start to the ac. View my complete profile.

Saturday, March 21, 2009. Why I'm Catholic Now. Dear friends and family,. Could I ever really find the truth in a specific church, creed, or interpretation of the Bible? Adventures in Orthodoxy: Argentina!
http://adventuresinorthodoxy.blogspot.com/2008/11/argentina.html
Saturday, November 22, 2008. Argentina, when compared with Paraguay, is a really big country to get to know. For that reason, along with my limited time and pocketbook, I chose to visit only three major cities in the middle part of the country. Sunday in Buenos Aires I went to San Telmo, a neighborhood world-famous for its antiques shops and street fair. I bought a small $10 religious painting a couple centuries old that had been ripped out of a church in Peru. Monday I arrived in Córdoba, a beautiful co...

Linda's Life: October 2010
http://lindasuecarter.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Just some every day stuff about what goes on here. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Just about a month ago, I had my knee replacement. It's hard to believe.I never realized just how painful pain could be. I never realized how much one surgery could totally drain one's energy. I never realized how much I took walking for granted. I'm also walking quite a bit without my walker (although I haven't been "released" from my doctor yet, so I'm not supposed to! Those who know me know that it's hard for me to just ta...

Linda's Life: What a Vacation!
http://lindasuecarter.blogspot.com/2010/12/what-vacation.html
Just some every day stuff about what goes on here. Friday, December 24, 2010. It has been three years since we've visited my family in Ohio for Christmas, so we checked into plane tickets in August, they were reasonably affordable, and our trip was planned! We decided last week that it would be better to drive down to the Cities (where we were flying out, four hours away) the day before and stay over night, not worrying about potential bad weather (we ARE in Minnesota! Merry Christmas, everyone! So thank...

Linda's Life: February 2011
http://lindasuecarter.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Just some every day stuff about what goes on here. Thursday, February 10, 2011. We have finally started the process that eight years ago we knew would one day come. Back then, in our almost-married stage, we had no idea when it would come. What would be involved. How long it would take. But now, it has started. We are starting our move into The Farm House. No, honey, those are NOT the kind of rooms most kids have! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watkins Products - Keep a Green Home. Pictu...
