Monday, April 13, 2015. Utes at The Big House. A very pretty campus. A little visit from Swoop. Our multi-hour rain delay. Stuck at the stadium during the storm.they started to run out of food for those of us that stayed around. And the game resumes with Ute fans outnumbering Michigan fans. Sunday, April 12, 2015. Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Just like we did during our transition from Texas to Pittsburgh a year ago, we went to California during our transition from Pittsburgh back to Texas. We got to spend Christmas in L.A. at B.J. and Kara's house, and Pops met us there. It was so nice! Kara and B.J. made Christmas so nice for us. Saturday, April 12, 2014. Take Me Out To The Ball Game! We went to our first Pittsburgh Pirates game! It was in the 30s.can't wait for the summer games. We had so much fun! Monday, June 8, 2015. Colleen Does The 'Burgh. Colleen came to visit us again in Pittsburgh last fall before we moved. We went to some cool places during her visit. Amish Pumpkin Whoopie Pie.super sweet, but delicious. Hershey, PA.the town really does smell like chocolate. And you should read about the amazing place that is the Milton Hershey School here. The Hershey family were/are amazing. I started to tear up during the tour.it's definitely worth reading about. Where they make Reese's products.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Pops Does Space City. My dad came for a visit at the end of March. We had a great time with him! We went to the State Park, the beach, New Orleans, an Astros game, and the Space Center Museum. Brazos Bend State Park is about a half-hour from our house. It is FULL of gators! A cool tree with tons of Spanish Moss. We headed down to Matagorda on the Gulf after visiting the State Park. We got our garden in that weekend. Clayton had built the boxes the weekend before.

Saturday, October 26, 2013. In a couple of weeks, I will be entering the remote world. The awesome company for which I work, Home USA Mortgage. Has given me the option to continue working for them remotely from Pennsylvania. They are great! No Buns Up 5k? The last couple of years that we lived in Salt Lake City, we participated in the Buns Up 5k which raised money for colon cancer awareness. They do not have a Buns Up 5k in Houston, so we recently participated in the next best thing, The Brent Event.

Sunday, June 29, 2014. Montour Trail Riding and Camping. There is a trail, the Montour Trail, just across the way from our house. We use it all of the time for walks and bike riding. It is fantastic! Since we had to be out of our Texas home at the end of October, and our Pittsburgh house is not quite done, we decided to spend some time with family while we were homeless. We spent a week with Kara and B.J. in California; Pops came down for the week as well. We, of course, spent a couple of days at Disneyland. Riding the tram into the park. Thursday, August 8, 2013. In honor of the final episodes of one of the best television shows ever, I made Breaking Bad cupcakes.yep, complete with "Blue Sky". The first of the last eight episodes begins this Sunday. Luckily, most of my co-workers are also big fans and will appreciate this Friday treat tomorrow. My "Blue Sky" is cotton candy flavored rock candy which is actually what they use on the set of Breaking Bad. I'm so excited for the new episodes.but very sad it is the end of the series.

Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Here are some random pics from our crazy fall/winter as we got ready for our move back to Texas. The thing I miss most about Pittsburgh.the awesome trail across the street from our house. Miss it so much. Visited the creepy West Virginia Penitentiary again around Halloween.
